This past Thursday, my Grade 12 Art Class had its annual Art Show, which ended up being a blast - albeit a tad exhausting.

As the title says - Happy New Year! Overall, 2007 was a great year, personally, and I'm hoping that 2008 will be even better. To kick off the New Year, here's the finished art project I've been working on. Click on the image for a larger version.



The maps (world maps, Middle East map, and Cairo map) were collaged together onto a 48x48 inch canvas, with a continuous dotted line leading through the entire canvas, with little thoughts jotted down along the way. The pyramid in the centre was constructed from cardboard, with my Egypt pictures making up the bricks. And last but not least, the footprints were made by myself and a few friends.

It was a whole lot of fun to put together - not the type of thing I usually do.
